Access to the beach is down Lon y Traeth, (Beach Road), past our house, Pendorlan! The beach is quite sandy, and there coastal walk runs from the castle above the beach around the headland and over to Morfa Nefyn. Take in Nefyn Sailing Club on the way to the Ty Coch pub on the beach at Porthdinllaen and Nefyn Golf Club at Morfa Nefyn. |
Whilst looking for places to eat out, there is the excellent Light of Bengal Indian restaurant near the end of Fford Dewi Sant, and on the other side of the road, the Nanhoron Hotel.
On the High Street, Y Folt (The Vault - a restaurant built in the old bank), a tea room behind the Post Office and a chippy. |

A little further out are Y Bryncynan Pub by the roundabout on the Pwllheli Road, The Cliffs on the Beach Road at Morfa Nefyn and the Lion Hotel in Tudweiliog. |
| The village also boasts a Londis and a Spar at opposite ends of the High Street (Styrd Fawr), a pharmacy (next door to Londis) and a newsagent (next door to Spar). Post Office (down the hill), HSBC bank (at the roundabout) with cash dispenser and a museum - which may have since closed, (look for the old church with a ship on the tower). |
