Llyn Adventure Activities, based near Abersoch and registered with the Adventure Activities Licensing Service (AALS), provides fun, adventurous activities on the Llyn Peninsula and around Snowdonia, including: Rock Climbing, Coasteering, Canyoning, Mountain & Coastal Walks and Canoeing.

Paintballing: Morning, Afternoon, all day or evening; Young people or adults; on your own or in a group. On the A497 between Pwllheli and Criccieth.

Fly a Hovercraft: Book a day out on the hovercrafts. Llangian, nr. Abersoch

Coarse Fishing: 6 acre lake set in 40 acres of mature woodland. Bait and tackle hire. nr. Criccieth

Portmeirion village and gardens. The village, built by Clough Williams-Ellis and well known as the setting for The Prisoner tv series. Just outside Porthmadog on the A487 (turn off in Minffordd).

Nefyn and District Golf Club was founded in 1907 and in terms of sheer exhilaration, Nefyn is Wales’ equivalent of Ireland’s Old Head of Kinsale. This is literally golf on the edge of the world. The course is dramatically located on the cliff tops at the foot of the Porthdinllaen headland, a tiny promontory that juts out into the Irish Sea.
